SONDELA CARAVAN PARK – 89 Standard stands and 52 Private Ablution stands

The Sondela Caravan Park offers 89 demarcated standard stands, as well as 52 stands with private ablution facilities. All our stands have power and water points, as well as their own braai facilities. The Caravan Park is set around a spectacular thatched ablution block, which has been carefully designed to meet a camper’s every need, including built-in baby baths, a family bathroom and a separate wheelchair friendly bathroom. The stunning Premier Lapa houses the bar and entertainment area and offers DSTV, pool table, table tennis and darts. Other facilities at the Caravan Park include a heated swimming pool with built-in spa, kiddies’ pool, a traditional boma braai area and our one of a kind porta-potti flush.

MOSELESELE TENTED CAMP – 4 safari tents

Moselesele Tented Camp with its unique “PRIVATE CHEF AT YOUR SERVICE” has been carefully laid out to ensure comfort and enjoyment and offers:

• 4 safari tents, sleeping a maximum of 4 people each.
• Private bathrooms in all tents (shower, toilet and basin).
• Private bathrooms in all tents (shower, toilet and basin).
• Communal boma/braai and socialising area for the exclusive use of Moselesele guests.
• Airy, comfortable thatched lapa incorporating a lounge, dining area and pub.

TAMBUKI 4X4 CAMP – For the rugged 4×4 camper.  4 Stands, maximum 4 people per stand

For rugged adventurers with 4×4 vehicles who like to be as close to nature as possible, our Tambuki campsite is the perfect option. This remote camp set around the base of a rock “koppie”, is strictly for the 4×4 camper. With its rustic appeal, Tambuki boasts an amazing open-air, hot water shower boma, flush toilets, and a magnificent central thatched lapa. Here you can pitch your tent and enjoy the sights of unspoilt nature around you. Climb the koppie for a sundowner and indulge in a sunset that will remain in your memories forever.

• In order to promote the privacy of resident guests, NO DAY VISITORS will be allowed onto the Resort.
• Please note that NO MOTORCYCLES OR PRIVATE QUAD BIKES are permitted on the Resort.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY & RESERVATIONS

• The full amount of your reservation must be paid within 48 hours of making the booking. Proof of payment must be e-mailed to info@sondela.com in order to confirm your reservation.
• Failure to do this will result in the automatic cancellation of your provisional reservation.
• Should the reservation be made 48 hours or less prior to your arrival date, the full cost of your accommodation must still be paid prior to arrival and the proof of payment sent to us.
• Should the payment not be received in time, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellation requests must be in writing.  A reservation which is cancelled or not taken up, is regarded as a cancellation and is subject to the following rules:

• For a cancellation made 31 days or more prior to the arrival date, 25% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
• For a cancellation made 30 – 21 days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
• For a cancellation made 20 -11 days prior to the arrival date, 75% of the full reservation amount will be forfeited;
• For a cancellation made 10 days or less prior to the arrival date, or on the arrival date, 100% of the full reservation
  amount will be forfeited.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be processed via EFT within 10 working days, subject to the cancellation policy.

One of the most widely used ways of sending money is online.  You will then have to load Sondela as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use your reservations booking reference number as reference for your payment.

DIRECT DEPOSIT

You may pay through a direct deposit. This is exactly the same as making an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the Site’s registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.

Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

The Merchant does not have access to credit details. Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

MONITORING

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

LAW

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from, portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
